About Our Company

Talbot Construction was formed in 1972 when my father Max and I decided we would make good business partners.  He would handle all of the sales and I would handle all of the construction.  Dad and I discussed hiring a bookkeeper but really couldn’t afford one so we brought mom on board. Things went along pretty well so dad and I decided to incorporate in 1977 and hired a full time office manager who is still with us today.

Mom and dad are both gone but in 1993, my son Joe stepped in to help manage the business.  We have tried to keep our business small and oversee all of our projects.  Our mission is to ensure each and every customer receives top quality materials and workmanship.

I hope to bring a fourth generation into the fold before I retire to help their dad and continue the family tradition.
